About Sculpt15

Who makes it

Sculpt15 is made by SculptClub, a private gym in the Jordaan in Amsterdam. Members use it at home on the days they do not come in, and anyone else is welcome to use it too. The site used to be called SculptCoach; it is the same site, now built around one free workout a day.

How a session is built

Every session takes 15 minutes: two minutes of warm-up, eleven minutes of circuit and two minutes of cool-down. The circuit is three rounds of four moves, each move 40 seconds on and 15 seconds rest. You pick a goal (stronger, leaner or toned) and the timer shows the move, a form cue and the seconds left. If you miss a day, you pick up the next workout; none is skipped.

No account or equipment is needed. A floor, and sometimes a sofa or a sturdy chair, is enough. Your streak is kept in your browser on your phone, so nothing about it is sent to us.

The exercise guides

The workout guides draw on a library of 160 exercises. Each one records the muscles it works, the equipment it needs, how hard it is, and three form cues. The guides rank the exercises for 5 body goals and list the ones you can do with each of 5 kinds of equipment, with their cues, so you can see how to do a move before you try it.

Safety

These are general exercises, not medical advice. Stop if something hurts, and check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, injured or have a health condition.
